Upon the first day on the first month should the sanctuary be set up,
according to the word of the Lord.
It is so interesting that this is a mobile structure, and wherever it
is set up, whenever it is set up, the space it occupies becomes so holy, that
should an unauthorized person venture into that space at the wrong time, they
could be struck dead.
Similarly, the ark was also a piece of holy furniture that if the wrong
hands should touch it, the person could be struck dead.

What a loving God we serve. He can dwell wherever He wants with
whomever He wants, yet He chooses to live with us.

This was my most ambitious project. I had hoped to provide a verse by verse commentary of the entire bible. However, my computer was stolen and I did not get to upload all the commentary I had documented up to Joshua. I was devasted by the theft and did not continue the commentary.

Is it fair to say that the wearing of jewelry is a sin, when it was God
himself that designed precious stones and precious metals for the sole
purpose of ornamental wear?
If we consider that the Earth, Lucifer
and now the priest is/was decked out with ornaments by the instructions of
God it becomes a very difficult thing to say that the wearing of jewelry is
sin.

The bells and the pomegranates were a part of the priest’s clothing
from the onset, and this was not a fixture added after some priest had died.
It is interesting that there does not seem to be the recording of the
death of any priest that operated on the day of atonement unworthily and
died, and had to be pulled out.

When was glass invented? Why would the scripture mention looking glass
here?
Mankind used several polished objects to reflect his image. These were
likely called looking glasses and does not necessarily mean the material from
which it was made.
According to the NKJ the looking glasses were bronze mirrors.

26 This verse confirms that there was in excess of one million people
wandering in the wilderness with Moses. If there were 600,000 men above 20
years, it is likely that there were just as many women and children. So a
fair approximation would be 1.8 million or 2 million people.

It is so exciting to know that it will be accomplished in this
generation. The people on the Earth right now are the ones who will see the
things prophesied about the end.
It is the Christians who are now upon the Earth, who will have the
opportunity to be translated.

5-7) the people bring more than was needed for the building of the
temple.
When did this become a woman’s job? Is this the case because these are
curtains for the sanctuary?
8) Note these are men sewing the
curtains?
There is always method to God’s instructions. No doubt the building of
the temple would have united the people, since it was their belongings/stuff
that went into the building of it.

It seems that Moses had not communicated the commandments to the
children of Israel before now. The account which is in Exodus 20, is the
communication between Moses and God and not the children of Israel and God.
It is interesting that as Moses communicates what was said to him in
the mount, he does not start with the commands as highlighted in Exodus 20,
but instead starts with the Sabbath command. This must be an indication of
its importance.
Is this Moses’ words, or did God tell Moses such?
See verse 4
2)Note that Moses says that if the Sabbath is broken, the soul that
breaketh it shall die.
Moses requests materials to make the sanctuary. The people gave
willingly.
It seems that God puts in the heart of the masons/artificers the
knowledge needed to build at that appointed time. It is not clear whether
these men knew that they had the knowledge before.

Note---10-02-2016
Why didn’t the Lord cut out the tables of stone like unto the first
time?
Maybe it was so that Moses would value these tables more than the
first.
Why does God tell Moses to come alone, and warns not to have even the
flocks feeds near the mount?
Maybe it is a safety pre-caution as to not have anything consumed,
since God is about to show His glory.
How big were these tables of stone that Moses hewed out? Is it that
they were small and could fit in his hand, or did h need a wagon to bring
them?
5) in this dispensation God comes down in a cloud.
Moses requests that the Lord go
with them. The Lord tells Moses that he will drive out all the inhabitants
before them, and He will go with them.

14-onward) seems to be a repetition of the commandments.
Note in verse 17 that the word graven is replaced with the word molten,
this might have been done as a result of the molten image that they had made.

Why didn’t God want the firstling of an ass?
20
What was the significance of the animals being male?
Maybe this was as a result of the fact that Christ was to be male.
These were types.
What was the purpose of appearing before the Lord without an offering,
or the redemption money?
Note that all firstborn males were to be redeemed.
If God knew that the Israelites would not occupy Canaan until many
years later, what was the purpose of giving all these commands?
25: Note

22: Three feasts unto the Lord.
These feast represent three dispensations of the church. The last of
which being the translation to heaven.
Is this the first time God is saying don’t leaven unto the morning?
I don’t think so, will try and find another
passage later for another appearing.
25:
Why did God say not to seethe a kid in his mother’s milk?
It is not clear why, however there is much
speculation about it. (one reason given is that it was a Paganistic custom).
However no one can be sure as to what the reason was.

28 Moses spent 40 days and nights with God, and Moses’ face shun. This
will be the experience of all Christians who spend time in the Lord’s
presence. They reflect His glory.
Similar to what Adam and Eve had at the beginning of time?
It seems God did not only show Moses His glory, but also shared some of
it with him.
In this sense Moses’ received way more than he had asked him.
Where was Moses in His walk with God that God could reflect his glory
through Moses and Moses be not consumed?
It is likely that this was intentional on
God’s part. He did say that He could show mercy to whomever He pleases.
How was Moses able to go 40 days/night without food or water?
Could it be that while Moses was in the presence of God, time seemed to
stand still? Moses did not realize the time that passed?
Could be that since God does not dwell in time, there was no
recollection of time to Moses when he was in the presence of God? Did it seem
like just a moment or just a day?
What must this experience been like, to actually be in the presence of
God in His glorified form?
27 Note that the words that God had spoken to Moses represented the
contract between Him and Israel. No wonder the commandments were written on
tables of stone, representing it was a contract.
Isn’t this situation a type? Isn’t it in like manner that God vails
himself, i.e. so that the angels/man can look upon Him?
33
It does not seem that Moses’ face only shun for a day. It seemed as he
continually communed with God that his face would light up.
