These were likely called looking glasses and does not necessarily mean the material from which it was made. According to the NKJ the looking glasses were bronze mirrors.	8

		26 This verse confirms that there was in excess of one million people wandering in the wilderness with Moses. If there were 600,000 men above 20 years, it is likely that there were just as many women and children. So a fair approximation would be 1.8 million or 2 million people.
		Moses managing this congregation is nothing short of a miracle.
