Is it fair to say that the wearing of jewelry is a sin, when it was God
himself that designed precious stones and precious metals for the sole
purpose of ornamental wear?
|
If we consider that the Earth, Lucifer
and now the priest is/was decked out with ornaments by the instructions of
God it becomes a very difficult thing to say that the wearing of jewelry is
sin.

The bells and the pomegranates were a part of the priest’s clothing
from the onset, and this was not a fixture added after some priest had died.
It is interesting that there does not seem to be the recording of the
death of any priest that operated on the day of atonement unworthily and
died, and had to be pulled out.
