Gen 12

		12:1 This is a continuation of the trip started by Terah in 11:31. Note that Terah died in Haran, and consequently the Lord now spoke to Abraham in Haran 12:4
		12:2 -3 It seems Abram was following his father until his father died. Now there was a need for God to talk directly to Abram and reveal what the plan was to him.
		12:4 Haran died in the land of UR of the Chaldees (11:28) The country Haran is not to be confused with the name of the brother.
		12:5 based on the fact that they got souls in Haran. It seemed they lived for a while in Haran
		12:6 -7 Abram gets to Canaan and sees the Canaanites living there. However, God makes the promise that one day Abraham will own the Land. It is interesting that sometimes the things that belong to you, another person is holding.
		12:10 Given that this is repeated. This might be a type. Not sure of what the message is for the last day church
		12:16 Abram was paid for his wife sarah
		12:17 It seems that pharaoh feared the Lord. However it  may have been as a result of the plagues that pharaoh regarded God.
		12:16-20 note that Abram kept the things that pharaoh paid him with for his wife, he got his wife back. Lesson God protects us and blesses us even in the midst of their folly
